Blue Gate Fields Infant School Gets 12 New Laptops!

Today Blue Gate Fields Infant School Year 2 children have taken delivery of 12 new laptops, which will support students to continue learning outside of the classroom and during school holidays.

The laptops were purchased with funds raised through Every Child Online, a coalition of Tower Hamlets Council, the Tower Hamlets Education Partnership and Community Fibre, who are looking to raise £1million to donate laptops and purchase internet connectivity for students who need it in Tower Hamlets. In addition, the school also received a donation of laptops from LGfL.

Tower Hamlets Mayor; John Briggs along with LGfL’s Digital Transformation Network Lead; Richard Martin visited the school to donate the laptops to our children.

We are very grateful for these devices, they will help massively with learning and we would very much like to thank Tower Hamlets Council and LGfL.
